Find a shady spot in your flower garden to place your pottery. More shade the better for the toad’s habitat and so the rain water doesn’t evaporate so fast. No rain, no problem. Just simply add water to the spout.
 
Be sure to pack it away in the early Fall to keep it protected from the cold elements.
