BEEbles - Bee Watering Rocks

Check out our BEEbles!! They are like pebbles but for bees and butterflies. With the summer heat and lack of rain, it really takes a toll on our wildlife, insects and our birds. With BEEbles you can place them in a glazed plant saucer (drip tray) or a glass pie plate that you can place in our flower bed to help water the insects.
 
Simply placed the BEEbles in your preferred saucer/plate with other rocks or marbles and fill with water until it is just below the top of the BEEbles. Water evaporates quickly so make sure you fill it up when you are watering your flower bed. You can place the saucer directly in the ground or elevate it with the planter pot turned upside down to serve as a stand.
 
Honey bees need water for various purposes, including hydrating themselves, regulating the hive's temperature, and diluting honey. Bees also use water to create jelly for feeding larvae. In hot weather, bees will collect water to cool the hive by fanning their wings over water droplets spread on the hive walls.
